The Kiffness

The Kiffness is a live electronic act from South Africa. The project was founded by David Scott in 2011 & has since had major success in South Africa, touring both locally & internationally with a string of successful radio singles & 3 SAMA nominations. Joining Dave for The Kiffness live show is Raiven Hansmann on sax & keys, as well as Mathew Gold on vocals.During the 2020 Pandemic, The Kiffness became well known for online parodies, satirical content & internet collabs with various people and animals, most notably his remix of “Ievan Polkka” and his collaboration with “Alugalug Cat”. Since 2020, The Kiffness has risen the internet ranks to become the #1 ranked artist / band YouTube channel in South Africa with over 1M subscribers & 1.8M followers on Facebook.What sets The Kiffness apart from most electronic acts is their tangible instrumental talent. What’s more is that they are great performers, so crowds can expect nothing short of a huge vibe.

– Where Are You Going was rated as one of the top 100 songs of 2013 in South Africa based on radio play and sales, and was included in the Now 65 compilation CD in 2013 & the ‘Goldfish Organic House’ compilation in 2014.
